Reef Table

Reef Table, inspired by ocean life, swirling waves and the interlocking forms of puzzle boxes is the successor to Greene’s table, Riptide, acquired by Dior.

Reef Table is at once a functional table base and a hand sculpted work of art seen through diaphanous glass. Reef Table is formed from three carved, curved, lacquered plates - bubbling swirls of silver steel, welded layers of dark gray and highlights in golden bronze.

The three base parts can be assembled in a multitude of configurations, closer together or more widely spaced, looping through one another or set apart, one arcing to catch the light or all three perpendicular to the floor. A round glass top from 4 to 6 feet in diameter or a longer oval top is suggested.

Reef Table was designed for Todd Merrill Studio Contemporary’s exhibition at Collective Design Fair, NYC, NY, 2015. Reef Table has appeared in Architectural DigestArchitectural Digest - ItaliaArtsy, The Observer, Hyperallergic, Design Life Network, Dan's Papers and Artnet
