Flight of the Eucalyptus

Monarchs cover the trees. So many, it seems there are none.

Until the leaves flutter. And take flight.

Flight of the Eucalyptus, a plasma carved steel and lacquer sculpture reminiscent of fluttering butterfly wings was part of Greene’s 2014 solo show at New York’s Hammond Museum and won the juror's prize at Attleboro Arts Museum's 2016 national show. It also appeared in Galatea Fine Art’s annual regional juried show, New England Collective V and in Artscope magazine.
